3rd Ultrasound Scan (FTS/Blood Test): 13 weeks

My private gynae (Dr Hii) recommended me to do the Panorama Test for Down Syndrome at his clinic when baby was 10 weeks, this test is able to find out the baby gender too (yes, as early as 10 weeks!). That advanced test costs $1000 (99% detection rate). But my friend explained to me, that i'm below 35 years old, so the chance of down syndrome babies is lesser. Dont have to spend that much money, so she suggested me to go to KKH for FTS test instead, which is way cheaper under government subsidiary. PS: You NEED to go any Polyclinic for a referral letter to KKH to be considered under the government subsidised patients.  So here i am.... First trimester screening is a combination of tests completed between 11 weeks and 13 weeks 6 days of pregnancy.
