What is Monilia?
Monilia is essentially a normal yeast infection.

Is this common in pregnancy?
Yeast infections are especially common during pregnancy because hormone changes can disrupt the pH balance of the vagina.

Can a yeast infection hurt my unborn baby?
No, a yeast infection won't hurt or affect your developing baby. But if you have a infection when you go into labor, there's a chance that your newborn will contract it as he passes through the birth canal. If that happens, he may develop a yeast infection in his mouth, known as thrush.

Solution?
Yeast infection during pregnancy is common. Mild cases, the infection would go away itself. Drink more water, cut down on sugars etc. But for my case, delivery date is just around the corner. So medical treatment is necessary.

Other than this issue, baby is healthy!
Still weighing at 2.9kg (+/- 425g)!
Which is a great thing, because I'm afraid my little one will grow too big too soon for vaginal or natural delivery.

Yes. I decided to give up breastfeeding. Because it's eating away my sleep and health, mentally and physically. People always say, " breastfeeding is the best for your child and try to breastfeed as long as possible, at least 6 months ". Well, it's easier said than done .
